Chapter 136. I Will Be the Leader of the Healers

“What are you talking about?” Leah asked, though her heart was beating too fast when Amoux told her that he was ready to accept the baby, even though the baby’s father was Alpha Brandon. She pursed her lips, and there was a part of her that wanted to let Amoux think that it was Alpha Brandon’s child. She was torn; she wanted to test him to see if he had finally changed. She’s scared that Amoux wants her because of the three packs.

She looked away, which made Amoux scowl at her. He was hurt, and he thought that Leah wouldn’t think about his proposal.

“Amoux, how did you know about that?” Leah acted like she was surprised that she was pregnant by Alpha Brandon. “I didn’t even tell you that I am pregnant.”

Leah didn’t correct him; she smiled unhappily. She moved towards him and touched his shoulder.

“I overheard your conversation with Alpha Brandon. Okay, I woke up when I felt you had left this room. I was about to call you when I saw Alpha Brandon was with you.
