Leah’s POV

I saw the surprise in the Lycan’s eyes because of what Amoux did. His breathing was violent, as if he was holding back from shifting to kill someone. Those with Lycan blood are very aggressive. There are times when they can’t stop or control themselves.

I immediately averted my gaze because I saw Amoux’s deadly gaze on me. What is happening to him? Only one injury happened to him, so why is he acting like this? How can I be hurt emotionally?

“Amoux, are you okay, son?” I saw the Luna reach out to touch her, but she moved away. Anaya, on the other hand, shows concern for her mate.
