Chapter 89. I Trust You

Leah’s POV

It’s been hours, but even though I forced myself to fall asleep, I couldn’t. I couldn’t believe what I read in Richelle’s book, and I was hesitant to continue reading it, for I knew it was her diary that she was hiding. Even though she was dead, I wanted to give her respect for her privacy.

I was staring at the white ceiling of the hospital when I heard Alpha Brandon groan. I know that he can’t sleep as well, but he needs to rest because he had a sudden meeting with his pack.

I remembered that Richelle was acting ordinary in front of Lycan. I don’t even think they had a past, but I want to know the truth. Richelle decided to teach me how to use herbs, for she knew that I was one of the healers, and for sure, she knew that my family was healers too.
