“Listen, Serena, I don’t have time for your bullshit—we have a problem, and we’re going to have to work together to fix it,” Christian spoke.
He sounded as if he was in a rush, and he sounded serious, so I did the first thing which came to my mind and parked the car to the side. “What’s wrong? Is everything okay?” I asked, worried.

“It’s the ring.” Christian sighed. “I’ll take responsibility for everything that happened—but not the ring.”
