Chapter 64. Birthday Party

The party was literally the best thing ever. Everyone was having a great time, and this new place was so nice. There was a lot of food, and to my surprise, my mom allowed some alcohol.

That was enough to tell me that she was really trying to be better, and to make it up to me. And I was grateful for that. I loved her, and will always.

Then they all cheered, and for the first time in my time, I didn’t feel like I had the sh*ttiest life ever. I didn’t feel like the Moon goddess hated me and was just punishing me.

I felt good. I felt happy. I felt seen. And it felt like life was finally starting to feel better.
