Chapter 34. Janet's Application

"So why did you come back here, Janet?" Regan asked, looking cold.

"I miss you, can't I?" she exclaimed.

"Janet, you know better about our relationship. We never had any relationship other than cooperation. So now, what brought you here? What do you want?" Regan asked in an even tone.

"Haissh, why are you always so cold to me? I really like you," said Janet.

"I don't have time to hear your bullshit," Regan exclaimed. "If it's nothing important, you can go."

"Okay. I'll tell you what I came for," cried Janet. "Alfa Production will release a new film entitled I Want You. I want to be the female lead; you can help me, right?" Janet exclaimed in a spoiled tone.

"Can't." Regan replied with certainty as he took a seat on the sofa.

"Why?" Janet exclaimed.

"I have sponsored you a lot. So now you're working on your own to get that role," Regan shouted, opening the file in his hand.
