Chapter 54. Davero's Departure

Agneta remained silent when she heard Aiden's story. He didn't know what to say; in fact, he was so sick and felt so lost. He even wanted all of this to be just a bad dream.

"Why don't you answer, Agneta?"

"I-" Agneta muttered, looking at Dave's frame behind Aiden's body. Without being asked, tears fell down his cheeks again. "I don't know how I feel about him, but now I feel myself dying, and it hurts so much. I felt like half of me had been taken away by force, and it was very painful."

Aiden smiled sadly and saw clear liquid flowing from behind his glasses to wet his cheeks. "He is very lucky to get your heart," said Aiden, and he walked away past Agneta, wiping the tears from his cheeks.

Up until the sound of a very loud gunshot woke her up, Agneta was still standing stiffly in place and gazing at Dave's frame. She looked around until he saw Key running towards him and grabbing his arm.

"Quickly, we have to get out of here!"
