Chapter 2. The Lady of Caprus

"Don't come near me! I'm begging you please!" 

When the scream of a young lady was heard, the rest began to tremble inside their personal cages. Fear occupied them, and the sobs from different people echoed outside the hallway. 

It may be a luxurious castle-like fantasy in the woods, but inside was the greatest nightmare for everyone who was trapped and in a cage for years and months. 

The three-story building was designed like a royal castle from the outside, but once you enter, you'll see the opposite of your expectations.

The fancy colors changed onto a dim grey paint with scratches from an unknown creature. The interesting designs transformed into candle lights from each of its corners. But the most terrible thing was that the inside was divided into various cages as if they were prisoners.

On each floor, there will be at least five people who are going to maintain their life and will always check everyone's health. 

There are also at least thirty cages on the first floor. The higher the floor, the more bloody it will be. At the moment, there are twenty-four ladies from different origins, and they still need more.

There are prisoners from Idestil city, which is the city of dragons. The city of Caprus is a small place where zombies live, and a number of ladies from each city. There are ten cities in total, and one of those was Cabrine city which was ruled by the seven deadly sins. The Vampires!

Although he is an Alpha himself, he chooses to live in Cabrine city with the vampires because his grandmother is a vampire. So technically, he also has vampire blood, but he is still an Alpha.

"P-please… I don't want to die!" Even with her pitiful face, the two men in white didn't even glance at her. They continued dragging her thin arms towards the secret door where Dye was in. 

The rest of the prisoners couldn't help but close their eyes and pretend that they didn't hear anything. As if they were blind and dumb. 

She was the niece of King Flexin, the King of Caprus. However, she was sent by her own father to offer her blood. The worst part was that she was weak and couldn't do anything than obey the orders of the higher ranks.

On this day and forward, she swore that after her death, she'd get revenge on everyone who took part in this stupidity. 

In another lifetime or space, she'll give justice to those who wronged her. When she was ten, she was raped by her own brothers, and they continued molesting her till now. She thought that it would be alright as long as she won't say anything, but they used her innocence to lure her down.

"Young master Dye, the lady from Caprus is here." One of the men spoke while facing a red door. 

No one answered, but as soon the door slit open, a long slender hand pulled the lady inside. It was quick, and no one even saw what was inside the hidden room. One man in white waited outside the door for minutes, and the rest walked back to their areas in order to continue their specific works.

When the man in white couldn't hear any sound from inside, he got confused for a moment. He was serving the sin of Pride for almost ten years, and he rarely saw his master. It was part of the prophecy in which each sin of the seven deadly sins has advantages and disadvantages. Though, in fact, he knew nothing about it.

In his master's case, Dye has the ability that both vampires and werewolves could do. It's because his mother was half-breed while his father was an alpha from the strongest pack. Of seven of them, he's the most unique and powerful one.

However, due to his wolf's ability, he would also need specific blood to be consumed once a month. It was his weakness. If ever he can't suck blood with the rare type, his physical ability will be affected and would lead to something problematic in the city of Cabrine.

Thus, they always maintain his health and needs. Though not like the sin of Greed, who has a specific human person to accompany him, the sin of Pride has a rare case, and they're still seeking a person who has the ability for his long-lasting cure.

"Call Lilac here to clean the mess in my room." The man was slightly stunned when he heard the voice of his young master. Dye, on the other hand, was calm after going out of his room.

"Right away young master."

His face was sharp and could definitely drag everyone's attention. No doubt that his parents were both considered the beauty of each classification. He took out a cigarette from his pocket and blew the smoke in front of the man's face.

As soon as it goes in inside the man's nostrils, the smell of blood is obvious. Although the man in white was also a vampire, facing one of the highest ranks could make you tremble in an instant. He was also tall, but his master was taller and masculine like any other seven deadly sins.

"He's on the way young master." Hearing his words, Dye gulped as he felt the taste of blood in his throat. It was as tasty as it was, and he couldn't avoid craving more. Soon, single blood from a single person won't hold him anymore.

"Good! Only Lilac can go inside. I'll be on my way then." 

"Take care young master."

His lips parted as his vision began to regain its sharp view. He can feel his body starting to go back to its original strength and power. In this case, he can go back to the human world again.

"One moment young master."

"What is it?" He asked without bothering himself to turn back. He remained the alter ego as he heard the screams and cries again. It was not a typical castle but darker than the literal one.

"The commander from the company twenty-four called you earlier this morning." The man paused for a while, and when he heard no response, he continued.

"The military group in the human world wants to see you as soon as possible. They also mentioned that the criminal's daughter whom you wanted to have was arrested. They are willing to take actions as soon as you command." He stated without even breathing. Afraid that he will stutter and displease the young master.

Dye was calm, yet he could feel the satisfaction from what the man in white stated. He then nodded and instructed him to wait for Lilac and let him handle the dead body inside the room. Only his younger brother has the authority to see what's inside.

With his long black jacket on, he hid with a mask and walked like nothing had happened. He passed a lot of cages with a person inside. They were rather pathetic nor helpless. 

'Soon, the lady from the human world will be in his hands again.'
