Chapter 3. The Criminal's Daughter

"I'll be back next week Mr. Rold." He said after going out of the castle. 

He considers Harold a loyal servant for eighty years. He came from the city of Alcalac where insects rule. Although the ten cities from their realm have their specific origin, they mainly have the physicality of a human being.

Apart from Cabrine city, which has a big area compared to others, the city of werewolves was more powerful than vampires. Thus, after the unity of both cities, they began to rule the whole realm.

The city of werewolves is called Zrobic. The second widest land of all time with their current king, King Dominic. Yes! King Dominic is Dye's father, as well as Lilac, is his younger brother. Though he rarely comes to Zrobic, he cherishes both his parents and siblings.

"Young master Dye, I want to be the gatekeeper until I die. Although we insects has less life capacity, but I would like to serve you till my last breath." Hearing the old man's words, he stopped and tilted his head.

"I may not be as powerful as the others, but my loyalty was always been with you and the Fletcher family." The old man added that made Dye's eyes glint. It was not even obvious, but what he adored the most was his people's loyalty.

"You don't have to do it Mr. Rold. I will assign a new gatekeeper from the city of Alcalac." He stated, assuring that it's fine for him to rest after so many years. However, the old man insisted. 

For the past decades, he witnessed how Harold got contented living as the gatekeeper of his hidden castle.

"The old master Dominic saved the city of insects once, and the seven deadly sins stopped the war between the ten cities of the realm. As of paying our depths, eighty years is still not enough to afford the sacrifices of Zrobic and Cabrine city."

After the statement of the old man, Dye took a deep sigh and nodded with his eyes staring at the man's features. There was a big scar on the old man's face which was from the horrific fight in Alcalac city years ago. It was also the reason why half of the people from Alcalac left their own land to start a new life in other cities. 

Although their population and strength decreased, they can't ignore the fact that the city of Alcalac has the advantage in terms of healing. 

"As you wish." With this, he snapped his fingers, and the ten men in black resembled again. The tall man from Idestil city led the way outside the Lindilac forest. The journey was silent and deadly.

All of them could smell the blood from the lady of Caprus. However, none of them questioned the young master. It's not new anymore. As the only Alpha with vampire blood of the seven deadly sins, he was more capable of doing anything.

"Here we are young master." The tallest man announced with a low voice. He looked at his master with pure respect and loyalty before going back to the line.

"Protect this place and report to me if you sense something unusual. If the sin of lust drop by, give him the best service and offer him the lady of his choice." He stated before opening the door of his red sportscar that was parked on the road."

"We will young master." With this, he drove fast. Although their current world was different from the human world, the materials, as well as cars, were already produced by some cities, especially the city of Techno. They have powers and magic, but they choose not to use them if not needed.

His sharp eyes were pinned on the road, and when he finally reached the peak of the forest, he saw various cars and people dealing with their own businesses. Their city was similar to the human world but literally with different creatures living.

Thirty minutes after, he arrived at his destination. The Pride's residence. Although there are seven of them ruling the Cabrine city, they also have their own place and home. 

He then parked his car in the garage and quickly walked towards the white door inside his room.

The house was empty, and the servants would only come whenever he needed them. As an introverted person, he would rather be alone than face others with fake personalities. Only his parents and friends are considered the 'true' ones.

"092402… The sin of Pride, Diamond Fletcher." Right after he said those codes, the white door opened, and he was dragged to the other part of the portal. He was already aware of where it would take him.

"You have arrived to your destination."

Right after he opened his eyes, he saw the familiar room where he was one month ago. The grey color of the walls on each side, as well as the five huge windows at his back, welcomed his sight.

"The human world…" He mumbled with a grin and stood up to go outside his office. Sure enough, it was an office of a five-star general, and it was his. Yes! He was as powerful as he was in their realm.

Having power means gaining Pride, and he loves every bit of it! He has his own dignity and principles in the eyes of many, but what he really aimed was to gain Pride for himself.

"Bring me to the criminal's daughter." It was not a request but a command. Two men wearing military uniform was stunned after seeing the five-star general. But they didn't question him. Instead, they saluted first before leading the way.

Inside a dark, creepy room, a fragile lady was sleeping, not knowing that danger was coming to get her.

'Lady, don't blame me. Blame your scent and your origin for having a cruel fate in my hands.'
