Chapter 75. Scared

When she opened her eyes, her sight was still blurry. She slowly coughed as she felt a slight pain in her throat yet it was not like earlier.

When she explored the surroundings, she realized that she was inside their room. The curtains were closed so the lights were on.

“Mommy!” The three little kids started running near her direction and they jumped on bed to hug her tight.

She smiled. “Hi babies!” She forced her voice to be energetic. She sat down and patted their heads one by one before looking at the man near the door. “Hi…” She greeted me.
