Chapter 105. Gloomy Atmosphere
Calla is heavily distraught and unsettled. Now in her room, she hasn’t been able to sleep since Rico left. Still in shock at what happened, her body trembling and her lips quivering.
She paced mindlessly, her legs tired now, but her mind still fully awake.
“Stupid… stupid,” she muttered to herself, her palm connecting to her forehead.
She knew she had to do something to fix the damage. It may not be entirely, but at least, to get back on his good side.
A frustrated sigh slipped from her lips. She paused and slumped on the edge of the bed. Her feet thumped lowly against the floor as her mind wandered.
Her gaze drifted to the damaged burner phone, scattered over the ground. She exhaled and gathered the parts she could find, then came back to her position on the bed.
She stared at the phone parts in her hands, and a laugh tore through her.
