Commotion

Kia

I realize there are only a few more minutes of class left, as I gaze at the grey wall-mounted round black clock. I begin to gather my belongings while I think about the exhausting incident that happened this morning. It’s time to go home at last. I take my belongings and head out the classroom door. I walk down a few stairs before I head out the main doors. I was pleased to see how wonderful the weather was when I went outside. A wonderful breeze is blowing, and the sky is a soft blue.

Ares texted me earlier that he would not be able to pick me up from school, so I decided that I would take the bus to head home. I’ve been standing there for what seems like an eternity, watching the cars go by, when I look up and see the white and blue bus approaching my stop. I shuffle my things and rush to catch the bus as it slowly comes to a stop in front of me, eager to go home.

When Kia arrived home, she immediately removed her shoes and went to the bedroom
