“Cursed child,” the Fae declared through Grace’s mouth.
Callisto watched in horror as Grace stepped outside of her body, her spirit now completely untethered. She moved to the side and contemplated her struggling form, then tilted the head of her body down until her eyes were now on the book itself. With a light touch on the Grimoire’s cover, the pages flipped once again and stopped on a page that emanated golden light.
The Unseelie Prince’s body let out a scream as beams of light erupted from inside behind his closed eyelids. His spirit transitioned back into his body as he reeled back and clutched at his own face. Grace’s soul snapped back into place, her dark eyes now studying whatever forbidden sight she had just exposed the Unseelie Prince to.
