Gretchen couldn’t help interrupting her, “Auntie, Miss Hudson, and Cristofer have...”

“Miss Abrams!” Estelle interrupted her harshly, “My mother is thirsty. Could you please get her some warm water?”

Gretchen didn’t expect that Estelle would talk to her with such an attitude and was stunned. Then she looked at Cristofer and pulled his sleeve, feeling aggrieved.

“My pleasure,” Gretchen said and then walked out of the ward with a thermos bottle in her hand.
