Chapter 35. Are You Free Next Weekend?
Sitting in the dining room, Estelle couldn’t see anything clearly. On the contrary, the man seemed to be quite used to the darkness.
Soon, the man came back with two bowls of chicken soup and sat down opposite her. The chicken soup was fragrant and smelled tempting.
It was the first time that Estelle had eaten in darkness.
“It tastes good,” The man complimented and took a few sips, “You’re really amazing at cooking.”
Estelle smiled shyly and said, “I learned it from an old maid in my family. She is a gardener, but she is good at cooking. All kinds of soup that she cooked were very delicious. Unfortunately, I can’t cook well like her. And the chicken soup cooked by me is not as delicious as the one she cooked.”
The man said gently, “The soup is very delicious. I like it very much.”
“Thank you, sir.”
“Do you know how many times you have said thank you to me?” The man asked.
