Chapter 30. Saving Her
Carmella’s jaws dropped. “This isn’t a date,” she scoffed.
“It is, with many more to come,” said Jaxon, leading her downstairs towards his car. He drove over to an upscale restaurant famous for its varied menu. The atmosphere was casual, with many families gathered around the enormous place. They occupied a table further away from the chaos, tucked in a cozy corner, and he handed her the menu.
“Order whatever you want to eat.” Carmella’s mouth watered and she ordered to her heart’s content.
“You were right. No one’s watching us,” she said, looking around. Jaxon smiled, glad that he had come to Las Vegas for a month. In this one month, he would help her get back her confidence, and become normal like before. He would try to heal the damage his insensitive words had caused. Their food arrived, and they both tucked in.
“I’m going to start a brand specializing in kid’s wear soon. I already thought of a name, Little Blossoms,” she informed
