My mom's time in Virginia slowly comes to an end and I feel sad watching her prepare for her flight back to NY the next day. Her presence here has done me more good than I can even narrate.

Firstly, she helped me get over my depression and self pity after I lost the pregnancy. Her presence alone did the magic and her words? Her words sealed the healing process. She also helped Adam as well. She'd talk to him whenever she thought I wasn't listening and I saw how it boosted his morale.
