Chapter 118. Live Together

After Ludwig left, Elle closed the door and went back to her room. She began unpacking her suitcases, organizing her clothes and art supplies.

Elle took a tour of the simple but livable house. Her attention was drawn to the room next to hers. She opened the door.

“Ludwig’s room?” she murmured, stepping inside. The room was neat and clean, and one spot made her smile. On the bedside table was the painting she had made of him. She hadn’t expected him to keep it.

Three hours passed quickly. Elle had finished organizing her things.

“Hmm, it’s been three hours, and he hasn’t come back yet.”

“I’m curious about what he’s doing,” Elle thought aloud and decided to step outside.

She stopped a teenage boy, “Have you seen Doctor Ludwig?”

The boy smiled and nodded, pointing in a direction. “Over there, under the tree.”
