Chapter 119. My Angel

Elle emerged from her room after dressing and joined Ludwig in the kitchen. "What do you want to eat? Pizza, burger, spaghetti, or steak?" Ludwig asked, smiling.

Elle, with her hazel eyes, was momentarily stunned. "Do we have all that here?" she thought to herself.

"But since it's your first time in this village, I'll introduce you to the local food," Ludwig continued, bringing out two plates of vegetables complete with boiled sweet potatoes as their carbohydrate source. He smiled and winked at Elle, teasing her.

Realizing Ludwig was joking, Elle stood up and walked away, leaving him behind. Ludwig could hear some clattering from Elle's room. Shortly after, Elle returned, carrying several large food boxes.

She neatly arranged the boxes on the table, revealing four different dishes that left Ludwig astonished. Elle sat down and smiled. "Let's just have these for dinner, shall we?"
