Chapter 65. Ignoring

"Okay, Mum!!" Chelsea and Austin replied in unison, laughing softly.

After lunch and a short rest, Austin sat in the living room after putting his daughter to sleep.

"Daddy, here's your phone," Monica approached Austin. There was no longer any awkwardness between the two of them. Monica had gotten used to calling Austin Daddy, just like Chelsea.

"Thank you!" Austin said, taking his phone.

Austin looked at his phone and saw that the screen was off. "Looks like it's out of battery,"

"Alright, let's charge it," Monica said, taking the charger from the drawer and handing it to Austin.

Austin plugged in his phone and waited for a while because the battery was completely empty. After it reached 20 percent, he turned on his phone. And shortly after the screen lit up, notifications of missed calls and unanswered messages kept coming in. And at that moment, Austin realized as he saw the many missed calls from his wife.
