Chapter 73. Flashback

"What is this!!! Ughhh!!!" Bella clutched her chest. Her legs felt so weak, but with all her strength, she stepped forward and hugged Arion tightly.

Bella laid Arion on the bed, placing a fever-reducing gel pad on his forehead and giving him some fever medicine. She kissed Arion's forehead, continuously whispering that everything would be alright.

"Sleep well, my love. Mommy loves you so much... Daddy loves you too. Sleep well, darling, get better soon so you can play with Daddy again..."

Not long after, Arion fell asleep. Bella felt an intense need to talk to someone. No, not just talk. She needed a place to confide in.

Bella opened her phone, scrolling through her contacts, which only had a few numbers of close people.

"Mommy Agatha? But I don't want to worry her."

Bella's eyes fell on the contact name 'Grandpa Vladimir.'

"Can Grandpa help me?" she whispered softly. Gathering a bit of courage, Bella decided to call Vladimir.
