Chapter 169. Imposible

Her beautiful, lovely face was so soothing to the heart. At times like this, he could only feel the pain in his heart. Bella's presence was truly precious to him. Knowing Bella wasn't inside, made him reluctant to get out of his car. He leaned his forehead against the steering wheel.

Lost in his own thoughts, Steve took his phone and sent a short message to Bella.

"Answer my call... I just want to hear your voice, Bel."

No response or read receipt from the woman who was still his wife. And he wouldn't let go of that status. For Steve, Bella would only be for him. Only he understood Bella Sophie the most.

"I'll change, Bella, let's talk. Just the two of us."

Steve sent another message to Bella. However, Bella still hadn't read the message he sent. Whereas when they were married, Bella never once was late in replying to his messages or not picking up his calls.

Because Bella knew he would be in a bad mood when his messages or calls were ignored.
