“I had Asher tongue-tied when I walked into his office, and he saw me for the first time. I don’t think he was expecting me to be this new person, so it took him aback for a couple of seconds, but he eventually recovered,” Aria stated excitedly.
“I told you all you needed to do was change your outlook, and many things would begin to fall in place for you,” Eros remarked.
“How did you know it was going to happen?” Aria asked. There were a lot of things she didn’t know about yet, and she most certainly knew that she wouldn’t, but she wanted to be kept in the loop.
How had he predicted the outcome without any mistakes? Could he see the future as well? She wasn’t going to put it past him; he was a god, after all, and they had incredible powers to do unimaginable feats.
“You had everything you needed with you. All the tools and feats you desired were there, dormant. All I did was steer you in the right direction to make things work out for you.”
