“You’re really annoying; you know that, right?” Aria frowned.
“You’re really saying this?” Eros laughed. “Have you met yourself? You’re being a hypocrite.”
“You’re trying to twist the narrative, Eros.”
“Not at all; I’m being sincere with you, and you can’t stomach it.”
“There’s a difference between being annoying and being truthful; don’t mix it up.”
“You obviously know what I’m talking about, Aria.”
“Do we really have to do this, Eros?” Aria scoffed.
“You’re trying to gaslight me now, is that it?”
“Eros, I don’t—“
“After everything I’ve done, you really want to go this low with me?”
“Eros, I was only trying to. . . Why the hell are you being mean to me? You know I’ve not. . . You know what? Whatever rocks your boat is fine by me.”
Eros stared at her for a few seconds before he burst into laughter, shutting the fridge as his body shook with laughter. Getting under her skin was usually one of the things he loved doing
