Aria didn’t exactly know how long it had been, but a few hours had passed since Eros left the house after their heated argument.
Unable to bring herself to do anything tangible, Aria had spent the rest of the afternoons wandering around the house and counting the hours until Asher would return.
He had called her earlier, but she wasn’t in the mood to talk, or else she would break down, and she didn’t want that to happen. For her sake, it would be best if she remained silent until she regained every trace of her composure before tackling everything Eros had told her with Asher.
Asher had assured her that he would be back early enough, and Aria couldn’t wait; the suspense already had her in a chokehold.
