Chapter 93

Eros stared out into the distance as he watched the starry night. It’s been a few days since he left Paris without informing Aria about his plans.

He was hoping that his gut had been right and she would’ve seen his letter by now but he didn’t put a lot of thought into it. The earlier he could learn to detach from Aria, the better it would be for the both of them.

He knew leaving impromptu would hurt her as well, but it was a decision that he had to make for both of their sakes. They couldn’t continue like this; they weren’t certain about what they both wanted and while he had eventually come around to confess his feelings, he understood why she had thought he was crazy.

If he were in her shoes, he would’ve probably done the same thing as well. Besides, the plan wasn’t to fall in love with Aria, but he had broken his sacred rule, and that was when he knew that he had to leave.
