Two months later

In some ways, Aria felt her parents would be proud of the way her life eventually turned out, even if her dad wasn’t present to witness this monument right here. Despite all odds, she had made something out of nothing, and not just that, with the help of Eros and her friends, she had a startup to call her own. To top it off, she was in a relationship with Eros.

It was close to perfection and she was content with the way everything she had ever wanted came to fruition despite the odds stacked up against her right from the start.

“What if Zeus comes down this instant and tells you to call this whole thing off?” Aria teased. “A small part of me wants to see you fight.”

“You’ve been reading way too many books, Aria.” Eros chuckled. “I mean, you know more about Greek mythology than I do at this moment.”

“Someone has to keep reading, Eros. We can’t all be like you. That’s a boring way to live.”
