Chapter 98

Aria was ready to tell whoever it was on the other side to get going. She wasn’t in the mood for company, and she knew it wasn’t going to be either of her friends; they were going to be working late today, and they had no reason to come here.

Aria pulled the door open and opened her mouth to repeat the words she had been chanting as she made her way across the living room.

“I’m sorry, I don’t think—“

The words died in her mouth as she stared into a familiar body build. Her eyes widened slowly as she raised her head slowly until her eyes settled on the face of the man standing in front of her door.

“Eros…”

Aria couldn’t believe her eyes; she blinked several times, trying to figure out if she was still daydreaming or if she was in real life.

“Aria, it’s me,” Eros said, clearing his throat as he held her gaze.

It had taken him all day to figure out if this was what he wanted, and he was glad that he made the right decision to come back to Aria.
