Chapter 33
NATASHA’S POV
As the warm sunlight peeked through the window, I slowly opened my eyes. I stretched my arms above my head, yawning, and felt the softness of the bed beneath me. The gentle morning light danced across my face.
I lay there for a moment, taking in the quiet of the morning. The world outside seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for the day to begin. I felt a sense of calm wash over me, a feeling of possibility and promise.
I tossed off the covers and swung my legs over the side of the bed, my feet dangling in the air. The floor creaked softly as I stood up. My leg hurt a bit but I could walk now.
I took a deep breath, filling my lungs with the sweet scent of rocks and the mountain outside. I felt alive, refreshed, and ready to face whatever the day might bring.
With a gentle smile, I began my morning routine, bathed and looked for Heph.
