“Are you sure that I’ll be safe with you?” Cassandra asked.

“It’s better than staying alone at your apartment, most certainly,” Keith replied. “As long as you stay within my sight, Hera won’t attack.”

“I got attacked right here in your mansion. It’s left me a little bit skeptical about everything, especially concerning safety.”

“That was a one-time thing, and besides, I wasn’t in when she attacked you, was I? I don’t plan to let you out of my sight for more than a minute. Hera doesn’t even need more than that to take you out if she does come across you again.”

“You’re not doing a very good job of keeping me calm, Keith.” Cassandra frowned as she swatted his arm, making him laugh.

“I am nothing if not thorough, and I’m sorry if I got you scared. It wasn’t my intention to step out of line.” Keith apologized. “I was only trying to lay out everything for you so you would understand the gravity of the situation we’re in.”
