Chapter 95
It was past noon and Cassandra hadn’t done anything yet despite the multitude of work she had on her plate, she was feeling rather lethargic to lift a finger or pick up from where she had left off the previous day, and she couldn’t bring herself to talk to Ari about it.
She was going to go off about how the emptiness inside of her was because she was claiming she couldn’t remember anything that had to do with Keith Andino.
Ari wasn’t going to believe anything she was saying, and Cassandra wasn’t feeling inclined to talk about anything today.
An hour later, she was walking down the street to her favorite cafe after forcing herself out of bed. A cup of hot coffee might just be the remedy to her sour mood; she’d been under the weather for a few days, and she wasn’t feeling sick either.
A change of scenery might just do her good.
