"That's impossible," said Call. He pointed to Ursula with an open palm. "How can a human heart be implanted in a robot's body? It just doesn't make sense. I think it's ferocious and horrible."

Red remained silent without responding. She was curious as to whose heart was within Ursula's body. Jeremiah was in an accident, then the funeral came; the whole process was normal. Suddenly, Red felt anxious; could it be Sophia's? Didn't Sophia just disappear, leaving Red and Aelea behind? How could any mother abandon her biological child? She knew Aelea was Sophia's daughter, and that was Red's recall. She was afraid that Jeremiah could have killed Sophia. But she wasn't sure.
