Chapter 17. Trio Metaphysic

After Domini had a horrible and miserable atmosphere at night, many people fled into the woods to hide. The AIs did not hesitate to kill people who tried to damage city infrastructure, including chopping branches or shooting birds. People who were part of large groups stayed in the parks. Human-kind marauders were omnipresent and merciless. Whoever emerged victorious from the Cirque arena lost most of their lives after leaving. Greedy people took Eire and their weapons. The stench of blood pervaded the city, which had become a city of slaughter in the end.

On the guidance screen, Red watched sadly as the number of surviving people fell drastically in the previous three days. Just approximately 2807 people remained alive. Tragically, most of them perished unnecessarily at the hands of their fellow humans. Kit sighed quietly and stared at Red and Call with concern.

"How long will this go in? Are the AIs unable to cope with these terrible events?" The chubby woman said hoarsely.
