Chapter 24. The Tore Skies

"We have to run!" Flame said.

The young man tried to drag Red by the waist, but the girl remained there, looking blankly at the scorched ground. Call wasn't there, nor was he anywhere near them. No trace of Call's vitality was visible no matter how many times Red tried to scan.

Red shook her head in disbelief. Call should have been alerted beforehand. It was too late when her eyes searched and discovered something explosive. Call had previously fired a close-range shot.

"Snap out of it! Jeez!" shouted Flame in frustration.

Flame struggled to carry Red's motionless body to avoid being attacked by the Jurassic Age monster. The monster, on the other hand, was already on high alert. He turned his body around and glared furiously at Red. Its white crystal-like robotic eyes glowed. The monster's roar sounded intimidating as it moved quickly over to Red. Its jaws were open, ready to rip the girl's flesh in front of it.

"Red! Move out of the way!" Flame almost let go
