Cassie Edwards’s POV

Days went by really fast and it’s already Saturday. There’s a big charity event in New York and there will be so much press. I’m nervous, so nervous that it makes me not want to go.

I’m wearing a beautiful red dress with my hair curled loosely. My makeup was light and I wore a black high heels to complete my look. Add some jewelry and a few sprays of perfume, I’m ready to go.

I went down to the living room and found the twins were talking to each other about dad’s business. As I was going to eavesdrop, Dean stood beside me.

“You don’t look excited.”

“I have my reasons,” I said without turning to him.

“What is it?”

“Just didn’t feel good,” I sighed.

“Everyone ready?” Dad showed up completely ready in his Armani suit. Mom went down and she looked so beautiful.
