And my heart beats rapidly, giving a fast paced sort of drumming sequence to the fast paced action going on.

In truth, the main reason I watch these extractions and movements and help them coordinate their movements is that I care greatly for my team.

When an official or the principle we are transporting is in trouble, the lives of the entire team making sure he or she is safe, are in danger.

That’s one the most horrid parts of the job; feeling like you’re sending people to their deaths.

It’s very much the same grievance, pound for pound that I have against a lot of these politicians that I protect with malice.

“I need eyes up front.” I try to keep my voice as calm as possible and slide the seat to another section of the desk.

Dani is my drone operator and she is most likely already flying the drone for another operation, but it’s mundane. If it was that important, she’d have called me.
