Chapter 107. Desire and Entice

During dinner, the atmosphere between the three of us was very harmonious, not awkward with each other at all. There were even times when I thought, if Dominic and I didn’t fight, would we be such a happy family?

“Do you have more lamb chops?” Dominic cut a piece of lamb chops and put it on a plate for me.

I tried to refuse because it’s been a long time since we’ve had such caring and romantic acts, especially when the problem between us still exists. But I noticed that Kenelm was looking at me, so I continued to pretend like Dominic and I were good friends. I took that lamb chop and ate it well.

All that night, Dominic was relaxed and chatty with Kenelm, and he would look at me from time to time and see if I needed anything more.

Honestly, I couldn’t guess what he was thinking, the more friendly and cheerful he was, the more worried I became. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just showed his true nature as a jealous and possessive man.

After dinner, Kenelm
