Chapter 194. Too Much to Take in

Mark stared at me and did not say anything for a few long seconds , almost as if he was watching to see if I was going to tell him that I was joking. 

But I wasn’t. I was not joking at all. This was who I was and I could not change it no matter what. My father already knew and was now like me.

Even if I did not want Mark to be like me too, I wanted him to at least know the truth. 

“You’re joking, right?” He finally spoke, his lisp curling into a small amused smile. “There are no such things as vampires. Be serious, Lisa.”

I could feel tears filling my eyes. “I’m not joking, Mark. I’m really a vampire.” I knew that he was not going to believe him unless I showed him.

So I did. I caused my fangs to poke out and as soon as they were flashed to Mark, he jumped away, almost falling from on the bed.

“Sh*t!” He cursed loudly as he scurried to his feet and backed away as if I was going to attack him. “What the f*ck, Lisa!? Tell me that’s fake!” He was
