For a quick second, I spotted a car coming at me from the right and I closed my eyes, expecting a collision, but hen nothing happened. I had crossed. 

I released a breath and glanced back, realizing how I had almost caused an accident, and you know what? Do you want to know the crazy thing? It would have been my fault. 

I focused back on the road, slowing down my speed and praying to God that I would arrive safely at my house. And that was what happened. I arrived, and I was home in ten minutes. 

The adrenaline was still rushing through my veins even when I got down from the car. With the engine killed and the doors locked, I headed towards the front door. I did not knock or ring the doorbell.
