Chapter 93. Eye Bags

In no time, I was in my car and Josh was in his. I did not know where to go. I did not know whether I should go over to Nora’s workplace or to her house because I did not know where she would be. 

That meant that I would have to call her and I really did not want to do that. But if I was going to face her in person, that meant that I should be able to deal with talking to her on the phone, at least. 

As I drove, I knew that Josh was following me. As he said, he was going to be there for me and make sure to help me do everything that I needed to do today. And I could not thank him enough for this. 

“Hey, Siri,” I said, activating the voice of my personal virtual assistant on my phone. And because the phone was connected to the car, it made it easier; I did not have to hold the device in my hand. 

“How can I help you today?” The voice replied. It was almost human-like but truthfully, I still felt like it was robotic. 

“Call Nora,” I said
