"Emergency!" A voice called.

Kimimela sat in her nursing uniform behind the reception desk. She held a cup of coffee and was about to bring it to her lips when they heard the call. Ava stood beside her, having a similar cup, and they both abandoned their coffee to rush for the emergency room.

"The curtains," Doctor William said. He was there already. Kimimela immediately obeys, drawing the curtains closed. The man on the bed groaned, tossing his head. He had a large cut on his leg, it looked like something inflicted by a knife, and it was bleeding badly.

“I think he's cut a vein, Doc,” Ava said, her eyebrows pulled together as she grabbed scissors. “I’m going to cut away the cloth so we can see your wound properly, sir.” She began to cut open the leg of his trousers.
