I've lost the use of my voice.

"Did either of you know that Lizzie had Thrombocytopenia- a reduced blood platelet count.. This is what caused her to bleed out?"

I stand in shock, what the hell?

"I err knew Lizzie bled from the smallest cuts but I didn't think it was severe.. I'm sure she would've told me if she knew." Dean spoke up.

"Well the next 48 hours are the most risky; we have to let her and her wolf heal and then bring her out of the coma." Dr Jules efficiency astounds me; she doesn't seem at all flustered.

"What are the risks? What could happen to her?" I finally ask.

"Anaemia, low immunity.. And she may lose her wolf. We can't be sure as of yet what may happen, but Lizzie is being observed round the clock."

"Lose? Her? Wolf?" I splutter.
