I'm aching to open my eyes, I'm already sick of being blind to the world.

Three long hours of hearing my children cry and listening to my mates talking, I get beyond frustrated.

"Will someone help me open my eyes or get out!" I snap.

I hear sighing and then the voice of Dean, "I'll speak to the doctor.. See if we can do something."

"Lizzie please calm down." Holden murmurs, stroking my cheek soothingly.

"Lizzie, I can give you a drip which should flush out the medication. That should help you regain your sight soon enough. Does that sound good?" The doctor says in a hushed voice.
