Chapter 60

A few days went by, and Lyca still didn’t understand why the queen had changed. Unlike before, the queen no longer told her what to do.

Like today, Lyca was able to go to her father’s room without Wesley and Albert following behind her.

Lyca hasn’t been to that place since she and Xavier met Albert and Wesley there, so she still doesn’t know what happened to the woman and Adam.

“There are definitely hints left about what happened. You can’t get rid of a body without leaving something behind.” said Lyca to herself.

When she got there, it was just like the first time she saw it… It was still the same, except that dried blood and rotting food made it smell bad. “The queen came here that night…did she kill the woman?” Lyca said something as she rubbed her finger on the wall where the explosion had left a mark, and blood came out.

Lyca thought about going to see Adam for a few more minutes. In her talk with Adam that night, Xavier didn’t say anything about w
