Lyca’s POV

I was shaking all over, so I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn’t see anything. Then I realized that something had been covering my eyes. Then I also realized that someone was carrying me, and I was shaking because the person carrying me was walking.

I was right! The queen is putting together a plan. I shouldn’t be careless! I mutter to myself as I think about how the wine the queen gave me made me pass out. But since it happened, I’ve been trying to relax and take in my surroundings.

I could hear the crickets and the wind at the same time. We are in front of the castle? How come? Who is it that is carrying me? I asked myself, since I hadn’t noticed the man’s smell before.
