Chapter 2
"KIRAAAAAAA!!"
BOOOOOM!!!!
The sound of the explosion resonated through the field, a large amount of dust filled the whole area, blinding anyone who dared to open their eyes. Commander Michael couldn't close his eyes though. He just stared on with shock on his face.
"Kira, no... No... Not you Kira," he stuttered, tears rolling down his cheek. His soldiers grabbed him by his arms, and pulled him towards a black armored vehicle that had arrived for them. He was too weak to resist and just stared at the smoke coming from where he had last seen the only soldier he considered a child to him. They pulled him into the vehicle and drove off.
Moments later they arrived at their military base under ground, where all the remaining Micronians lived. As they drove in, everyone who was concerned enough to gather, greeted them with praises and chants. They finally stopped the vehicle and all the soldiers got down.
A man, clad in a white uniform searched for the Commander through the crowd, and found him looking all beat up, sad, and depressed. "Commander Micheal, what's going on?" he asked.
"It's... It's K-K-Kira..." Commander Micheal stammered. The mans eyes opened wide as he heard him say this.

Back at the battle field, thick, black smoke rolled up into the sky from where the explosion had occurred. A large crater was created by the massive energy released by the blast, and I laid in the center of it, unconscious.
Flashes of strange memories and dreams went through my head, I heard screaming, saw fire and smoke, but nothing was clear. It was all so fuzzy, and every thing had happened so fast.
Suddenly, I heard a voice scream, "Kiraaaaaaaa!!!" And before I knew it, my eyes snapped opened.
I coughed a bit, and wiped the tears that kept on flowing from my eyes for a reason I didn't even know of. I regained full consciousness after a couple minutes, and looked around. Thousands of questions raced through my mind. The first being, how I survived a blast that turned over a hundred war machines to ash.
I suddenly remembered something; my necklace. Every other thing seemed unimportant to me at that moment as I searched the ground, silently praying it hadn't gone missing.
As soon as I sighted it, I rushed to it and reached for it with my right hand. But before I could grab hold of it, I felt a sudden shock reverberate through my arm. Shutting my eyes and clenching my teeth in reaction to the pain, I screamed.
I slowly opened my eyes and turned to my arm, and to my surprise, rising out of an injury I sustained, were streaks of blue sparks, my arm gave off a blue glow endlessly, and without thinking, I exclaimed. "What in the hell?"
I and the Commander had always been very close. He trained me personally right from when I was a little girl. He treated me like his own daughter and I looked up to him as one would, a father.
Although, sometimes, he got really strict with me, still, I knew he loved me and did only what was best for my sake. Because of that, I wasn't too surprised to hear that my Commander, the most powerful in our squad, broke down in tears for my death.
Back at the underground base of the military, the man in the white uniform walked the Commander to his room.
The rooms in the base weren't big or fancy. They were circular in shape like, capsule hotel rooms, and had a small bed.
There were no TVs or phones. There was a law underground that any one who made computed machinery would be sentenced to death therefore people had to live without many electronic devices'.
Commander Michael sat on his bed and the man in the white uniform sat beside him to offer comfort. Stress was written all over Commander micheals face.
"What happened out there, Commander Micheal?" he asked.
The Commander replied, "Those bastard war machines... We were going to round them up, and blow them up all at once... But for some reason, Kira got caught in the explosion. Now, she's gone and it's all my fault."
"It's ok, It's fine," the man said, trying to console him. "We are going to arrange a befitting burial for her--" He couldn't complete his words as he heard a shout from outside.
"KIRA IS BACK!!!" the voice yelled. Commander Michaels eyes widened as he turned to face the man who also had a confused expression on his face. They both ran out of the room, heading towards the gate.
I finally arrived at the gate after hours of walking. I was breathing heavily and was about to go unconscious.
I fell to the ground with a thud. My vision had started to get blurry and my throat itched from thirst. I looked up and saw two men run up to me. They grabbed my arms, lifted me up from the ground and quickly rushed me to the sick bay.
As we aproached the sick bay, I looked up and saw that one of the men standing beside me was my commander. I held him tightly and tried to speak but all that came out was a croak. I swallowed in saliva and tried to speak again. "S--so--something's wrong with me," I said with a hoarse voice.
"Don't worry, Kira. You'll be fine. Be quiet now," he said as he held me tightly. I tried speaking again but he shushed me. "Whatever you have to tell me, you can tell me later."
I was later laid on a bed and was quickly given some pain relievers. After taking the pills, I went unconscious.
Commander Michael walked outside the sick bay to talk to the other man.
"Kira said something to me," Commander Michael whispered.
"What was that?" the man asked.
"She told me something was wrong with her," the commander replied.
The man remained silent for a bit before replying, "I think we both know what she was trying to tell you." They both stared at each other. Something was going on in both their heads, something really serious.
