“Is that where she lives?”

“I knew there was something off about that house."

“Look at the destruction she caused."

“She's not human, is she?”

These words and more were what the civilians who were disturbed by Rowlis and Davis's battle murmured as Rowlis carried Davis back to the house.

“I was careless; I totally forgot we had gone into the public. No one has ever seen me before, even when I killed demons around the city and stopped crime. I was always too  fast. Rowlis thought to herself, staring forward with Davis over her shoulder.

She walked as quickly as she could, avoiding direct contact with anyone on the road. People took pictures of her; some cursed her, and some called her a super hero until she reached the gates.

“One good thing came out of this, though. At least now I have a way to exorcise David,” Rowlis thought as she pushed the gate open.
