Chapter 24. Vision of the Beasts

Mirabelle’s POV

An extreme cold feeling sparked something within me. It was so cold my blood began to freeze from its contact as I moaned and my gaze fell on a beast with red hungry eyes, and seven heads standing close to eat me. It marched towards me growling wickedly with its canines out almost tearing me limb to limb.

“Ruby!” A scream erupts from my throat.

My eyes fluttered open with sweat soaking my dress and beside me was a confused Ruby who was holding on to me.

“What is it?”

“A beast! An animal with seven heads was in this room.”

“There was no beast in this room and I came back to meet you sleeping but you suddenly screamed,” she says peeking around the room but when she sees nothing her tensed shoulder falls in defeat.

Shaking my head in disapproval of her claim. “It felt so real. It was here. I’m sure it must have hidden somewhere… around.. check the room.” I pushed the mattress roughly to stand on my feet and almost slipped in a h
