Chapter 39. Caring Alpha
Alpha Dargan’s POV
Immediately Scarlet took her leave I sent for the maids to prepare a healing broth specially for Anabelle.
“It’s ready, your highness.” She bows with the tray in hand, her gaze on the floor. I could sense her fear as she trembled in my presence.
“Drop it at the table and leave.” The maid jolted quickly dropping the tray on the table and next she sprinted out of the door. I can’t blame her. The first visit of the beasts. The maids and Wolf guards lost their lives, something I wasn’t proud of. They weren’t the enemy but I had no choice but to take responsibility for it.
