Mirabelle’s POV

I hoped in the smallest of heart for my intuition not to be true but it is what it is. Scarlet was guilty of those acts and yet she lacked the remorse for her wrongs.

The door was pushed open as I beaded hoping to see the Alpha but with uncertainties on my mind. What would be the next punishments he has in store? Did unravelling Scarlets wrongs give me a pass from mine?

Meredith walks into the room with a cup and when she sees me a wide smile spreads across her face. “How are you dear?”

“Umh… I mean I’m good. I didn’t expect to see you.”

She clinked the cup with her fingers. “I brought you medicine. I can see you’re doing good but this will make you feel better.”
